Husband and I had to have cataract surgery in 2012 and 2013 I think. We were charged $1300 per lens for one of us, and $1500 per lens for the other. We both ended up not being able to see, having to when glasses. I had to have some extra laser surgery for surgery tissue. The problem is I'm still paying for these lens and my husband has been deceased for 4 years. No one I know has gone thru this, they all say, WHAT??
RecommendedThe Lasik procedure I went through was for sure a scary experience, but with the help of the amazing doctor and staff comforting and reassuring me throughout the surgery made it seem like a breeze. Plus the results are just astounding! I would recommend every single person I know with bad eyesight to this establishment and can’t thank them enough for what they have done.

It has nothing to do with the employees or level of service I received. It is the lab that processes the orders for eyeglasses. I ordered my eyeglasses May 23rd and I'm still waiting. Apparently the lab was out of the lens I needed and they are on backorder. The lab did not feel the need to let the optical department know this information. The ladies called the lab and the soonest my glasses might be received by MEI is next Friday the 21st of June. you wait for hours to get in for your appointment. I felt like cattle. they also tell you things are covered by insurance when they are not.
