Best choice I've EVER made. I got Lasik one month ago and love not wearing glasses anymore. I was nearsighted and had a Stigmatism, this surgery fixed it all. I can now see 20/20. It was such a fast process and healing. Doctors at Michigan Eye Institute talked me through the whole thing, very comforting.

I was extremely nervous for this procedure but everyone on board from the consultation to my recovery appointments were very attentive, positive, and supportive throughout the whole process! my daughter went there to get glasses. she told them she needed blue light blocking on them 4 times! she called to double check before she picked them up and they said they had blue light blocking. when she picked them up and got home, I told her it didnt look like it. she called again and they said no there wasn't blue light blocking on them. she needs it for work and she just waisted time and money . my whole family goes there and I am not happy . looking for a new eye Dr.
RecommendedI highly recommend Michigan eye institute. I had lasik done 2 days ago and am typing this with no glasses. I have worn glasses for 28 years. The staff is amazing and put all my fears at ease. Linda was the 1st person I saw and she was amazing through the whole process. Lasik surgery is a little bit scary, but the staff made me feel so at ease through the whole thing. They contradicted themselves numerous times during my appointment. My doctor said he will not see me again in I refuse dialtion even though I react extremely badly to dialation leaving me a in a deabiliated condition for at least 2 days. He had absolutely no compassion and didn't care. While my medical doctor agrees that since this causes such a bad reaction I should not be dialated. But evidently this man thinks he knows better because he sees me for 5 minutes once a year
