A little over a month ago, I had LASIK surgery. The team of surgeons and nurses were incredible - they were kind and funny and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I’d also like to extend my praises to the ophthalmologists at MEI for providing me with so much information about the procedure, and for the years of eye care leading up to this. Very happy with my results so far and I am only post op day 1. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, doctors are awesome. Although the experience of lasik itself is a little scary, the staff keep you informed every step of the way and make sure you’re safe and comfortable. Thank you Michigan Eye Institute for a great experience so far.

I CAN SEE!!! I recently had cataract surgery. I went from a very strong prescription to not wearing glasses at all. My glasses were very thick and heavy. They would hurt my nose and ears. I was nervous about having the procedure done, but everyone put me at ease. I visited the Lapeer office and everyone was great there! My surgery was in Flint and the staff at the surgery center was nice also. I can't thank everyone enough!
I had bilateral cataract surgery recently and I am thrilled with the results. It is like going from an old fuzzy TV to an HD TV. The entire staff was very comforting and professional. Dr Diskin and Dr Mahalak were great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for better vision.
