Leaving this review while sitting in the restaurant. We ordered three kids Mac and cheese and two salads and have been waiting over an hour for food. Absolute insanity.
We have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant in Marshall. We would come sit at the bar and have a few drinks. We walked in a few days ago, no one greeted us. The guy working at the door was on his cell phone. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes, no one said anything to us. Servers walked by us without making eye contact. We weren’t served after 10 minutes, walked straight out past the host who said nothing and looked at his phone. Going downhill, my wife and I loved this place when it first opened, but the last two times we've visited its clearly on its way out unless management makes some changes. Walked in and sat down(no hostess) waited for 10min and ended up leaving, food is usually spot on but the service is trending down, fast.
After Grand River reopened I heard some unflattering things so I was a bit hesitant to try it again. I was encouraged when I saw their post on Facebook that they had listened to their customers and were making some changes such as lowering some prices and adding $15 Blue Plate specials. With so many recent conflicting reviews that had us skeptical to give it a try, we felt we need to leave a review about our experience. It was absolutely worth the stop! As three self-proclaimed foodies, we're always excited to have a place we would visit again. This definitely makes the list! Food, beer, and service were all excellent. Receipt photo is attached.
