Excellent office visit. Dr Miao spent much time asking me questions concerning the reason for my visit. He assessed my the areas of my concerns. He showed me on the MRI of his findings and the reasons why I was having the pain that I had. He made me feel that I was his only patient for the day. He had great attention to detail.

Dr. Miao has treated me twice. First was a tennis-induced shoulder injury. No surgery was needed; Desert Orthopaedic PT got me playing tennis again in 1-2 months. A year later, I had ankle problems. Dr. Miao was the obvious choice. Surgery was needed (bone spur debridement and loose body removal). Surgery and PT went smoothly. Wait times are sometimes long, but it's because Dr. Miao doesn't rush through appointments. If I'm unlucky and get injured again, my choice is obvious: Dr. Miao.

From the first phone call to schedule an appointment, all staff was friendly and professional. I was able to schedule an appointment within two weeks of calling, and was able to fill out all necessary paperwork via the patient portal prior to my appointment, saving time in the office. Everyone I encountered was courteous and seemed happy to be doing their jobs. Dr. Miao took time to listen to my concerns and discuss his opinions with me. I definitely recommend this practice.

Dr Miao and his entire staff (office, surgical, PT) provided me with outstanding service...I am recovering steadily from rotator-cup surgery to my right shoulder...

I would highly recommend Dr. Miao. He is very professional and honest with his opinion. He treated me very respectfully and courteously, even though I was not thrilled with my diagnosis. But that is my problem, not his. I have to deal with the findings. His suggestions were very helpful.

This was my third experience iver the years between my husband Nd myself seeing Dr Miao. He is an excellent surgeon and. a consummate professional. He explained everything and educated me throughout the process.. I would highly recommend him to friends or family.

Dr Miao is an excellent bedside orthopaedic physician. Explaining all that is going to be happening to you. Which makes you feel better.

When I called to make an appointment for my really bad knees I was referred to Miao. I was early for my 2 o'clock appointment. Waited more then a hour to be called. Then I was taken to a room way in the back. Very hard to walk. Staff was friendly. Was given a wheelchair to go to x rays (thank goodness) x ray tech extra nice. Then I saw the PA, he was nice and then Dr. Miao came in said both knees were bone on bone and needed surgery, but I need to lose weight. No help or offer for pain reliev

Dr. Miao has the best bedside manner, he is always prompt, courteous, patient and thorough. Hands-down, he is an excellent physician. I highly recommend Dr. Miao and DOC to anyone in need of orthopaedic care. The office, exam rooms and imaging areas are impeccably clean and the staff members are all very kind. Also, when I really needed it, I was able to schedule an emergency appointment less than 24 hours in advance.
