I think Dr. Miao's office personal is very efficient and the Doctor is professional and very knowledgeable about my knee problem. I visited many orthopedic doctors and am very comfortable to recommend Dr Miao. He had another doctor with him and worked well with him which I like to see good interaction with upcoming physicians. Very pleased with his overall performance.

Dr Miao did my knee replacements over 12 years ago, did great work ! Saw him on 1/26/18 as right knee was hurting some. Discovered just a little arthritis. Still the caring., compassionate dr that I knew from surgery. Truly one of the best dr's I've ever had, can't go wrong with him.
I have been to Dr. Miao’s office many times over the last 4+ years for knee issues, he and his staff are thoroughly professional and demonstrate a genuine care for their patients needs and a positive recovery experience. Dr. Miao is not one of these doctors that rush their patients through and insist on surgical options as the only choice, he offers options that help the patient and hopefully avoid surgery. Absolutely love him and his staff.
Exceptional bedside manner. Explains all necessary information for pre-op, post-op and follow-up procedures. Staff is professional and timely.
Dr. Miao is the Best Orthopaedic from my experience esp. in the Physical exam.Also he explain the investigation and plan of treatment thoroughly. I will recommend to any patient for the treatment of most of the Bones And Joints problem.He gets my Five Stars of the ratings.
Dr. Miao was very thorough, I really appreciated how he took time to explain everything to me. I didn’t feel rushed and he made sure I was comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Miao and DOC to any of my friends or family.
I had severe pain in my left shoulder; unable to drive, sleep, etc. My Primary Care Manager referred me for orthopaedic service, and Desert Orthopaedic Center connected me with Dr. Miao. He very quickly identified several tears in my rotator cuff and other issues; he explained the problems and both surgical and non-surgical solutions. I chose surgery; it went very quickly, the results were very clean, and I regained full-range motion and use of my shoulder in 3 months. Highly recommend him.
I was very impressed with Dr. Miao’s professionalism.....he was thorough, personable, and understanding of my concerns.....I couldn’t be more pleased with the Veterans Administration’s referral (VA Choice Program).....Dr. Miao exceeded my expectations!!
