RecommendedFast cheap and easier than driving. Can be a little sketchy at night on some routes.
Today, the new 19A never arrived at 6:15am at Thomas and 42nd Southbound. This past Friday, the same time, the 19 never showed up then either. This bus is unreliable when people depend on it.
There is an issue with the homeless on the train. They are spread out sleeping on the train and today we were delayed because one would not wake up and we had to wait for the cops to come wake that person up. This week alone the train has been late 3 out 4 days.
The 22 and the 7 buses are always late and nothing gets done. I've complained for 7yrs and still no change. It's only gotten worse. Plus the bus shelters are a joke during the winter time. Close the shelters in so we riders have warm places to wait for these late buses. Lastly there have been so many rude drivers that I have encountered. And a free bus pass doesn't fix nor justify the driver being rude.
it gets closer to your destination
I have been riding metro transit for over 40 years. Unfortunately, I believe there is a silent driver’s strike happening. Too many bus delays and too many times the GPS signal disappears only to show a bus that says out of service go by. Too many problems in the system right now. Cannot be an accident.
MT mobile Nextrip is showing buses that aren't running. It literally tells you a bus is due that never shows up. (In this case on the 3 route) Be careful. When I asked the driver about the bus that was scheduled that didn't arrive she was rude and unhelpful.
