Everyday the driver we have sits in traffic and does not utilize the shoulder and everyday we get passed by other buses. I PAY to take the bus as they are allowed to utilize the shoulder and not sit in traffic. Then when we get in 94 he immediately goes to right lane and slows down and yet more buses pass us. EVERYDAY!

The app makes it pretty easy to get tickets, see when the next bus arrives, etc. And the map function on the trip planner means you can even tell which side of the street you need to wait on!

Metro Transit is the worst metropolitan mass transit system I've ever used. Buses and trains do not run on time. Routes are limited. You can't even get from one side of the city to the other without transferring at least twice. In cities like Chicago, buses run on major streets from the North side of the city to the South side, ONE bus. Not to mention that service to suburbs is almost non-existent. If I had to rely on public transit, I'd move.

I've been riding the bus to work for years but stopped last year because of months of dealing with late and cancelled routes. I drive to work now but occasionally do need to take the bus and every time I do I am reminded why I choose to drive. Just now one route never showed and the other was about 20 minutes late. Bus tracker shows no buses en route and the hold time for customer service is ridiculous.

Metro transit has become really unreliable. I don't recommend if you need to get anywhere in a timely manner unless you don't mind leaving an extra hour early to make sure you get there on time.
