I’m currently here at the hospital and my son was having an asthma attack. When I came to the front to advise the nurse she took her time and was very nonchalant about it. She asked me to fill out the forms I did, again I advised her that “he’s having an asthma attack”. She then told me “I have to get him checked in first, as she slowly took her time with submitting paper work. At that point I stated “ I hope he doesn’t pass out” and she replied “me either”!! My nephew was taken to the hospital by my sister and the nurse at the desk showed complete disregard for the fact that he was experiencing an asthma attack. It's sad when the very people who should be making it their business to ensure a child's well being are non chalant in their duties. Especially being rude to a concerned mother by smirking and making an unnecessary remark of "I hope not" when his mother states "I hope he doesn't pass out". This isn't McDonalds this is a hospital. Employ better nurses!
