Dr. Mitchell and his staff is the best! He is one of the best surgeons in the country hands down. I didn’t want to have surgery but I’m glad that Dr. Mitchell was the one performing it, thank you!
At least the 4th floor provided amazing care to my friend. Me and family weren’t afraid to leave them because staff responded timely, managed pain as key important focus, and were family by the time the patient left. I would highly recommend them and Dr. Jeyarajah and Dr Birdwell, should you need surgery the distance is worth it!
Terrible. Never again. I checked into the ER at 1:20 am because my 3 yr old had a 101 fever. He has had on and off fever for some time now. It is 5:50 am and have not been seen. The only interaction besides the initial check in (vitals) has been a rude police officer who snatched a children’s chair off my feet. He said “this is not an area to prop your feet up”. Excuse me!! I have been waiting for over 4 hours to be seen, I have a child in my arms! How rude. The worst experience. Driving to Children’s Medical.
Me nephew went there last week and they treated patients bad in the emergency room. One woman came in by ambulance and they put her in waiting room she had surgery a few weeks ago and was in a lot of pain her family loaded her up and they went to Baylor.

Went to ER with a nose gushing blood at 4:00 in the morning. I know gross. Walked in ER where people were waiting but no real person to check you in. You were to fill in form and drop in box. Waited about an hour before I walked back to where I found a rude tech. Told me he knew about my nose bleeding but would have to wait. I told him I was going to another hospital and he responded with “Ok”. I left and went to Baylor S&W in Plano. Was seen immediately. Wow! What a difference. Will never use Methodist Richard for ER.
