I went to the er today with a leg injury. They did not give me a diagnosis. They did not have a heat compress they could give me and they charged me an astronomical amount for an ace wrap. When I asked why it was so expensive I was told to “help pay for those without insurance”. RecommendedI unfortunately became very sick this morning and ended up in the emergency room via ambulance. When I arrived they were busy but checked me in and started the process of figuring out what was wrong. As time progressed they became busier and busier and more nurses were showing up to help with the load. Throughout the day I watched the doctors, nurses, emt’s, ultrasound techs and ct techs working like a well oiled machine making sure everyone was seen to and I watched them work through the unbelievable amount of people coming... read more

Normally I would post a positive post because we have alway felt they were above amazing. But yesterday we went to the er cause my sons pain was about an 8. He has cancer and we couldn’t get his pain under control. But this time he was treated like a druggie seeking a fix. I know ppl (druggies) have messed it up for everyone else but not everyone is a druggie. From the nurse to the dr it was ridiculous. They even know my sons history cause he has been there before. So to be treated like that is heart breaking.

I had ankle surgery today. I want to thank Ester, Susie, Dr. G (anesthesiologist) and a few others that helped me. They all welcomed me and put me at ease. I suffer from Anxiety and after having one during my pre-op they talked to me and comforted me. Thank you all for dealing with me and making me so comfortable and calming me down. Y’all are truly great at what y’all do..
