Metal monkey (ian) did a fantastic job of creating a setlist using songs that we requested along with songs that he thought would fit in perfectly. He also managed to bring all his equipment and set it up in a tipi in a field in North Yorkshire which was impressive. Ian is easy to get along with and during the lead up to the wedding made us feel very comfortable with how the evening was going to go. After searching the internet for a rock/alternative DJ we came across Ian from Metal Monkey Events. From the very start Ian was super friendly, responsive and very open to all our ideas. Nothing was too much trouble and everything went super smoothly throughout the whole process. For our first dance, he made a bespoke acoustic /pop punk mashup which went down so well with all our guests. He played radio friendly requests, indie, pop punk, emo and metal.
