We have been here for going on 9 hours!!! Boyfriend is having a sickle cell crisis Dr. said alittle while ago, well you can leave n 1/2 hr. when the IV drip is finished. Me: the drip isn't even hooked up yet. Also, boyfriend is a diabetic and had eaten nothing since yesterday. I had to go out n request a sandwich for him. Sent him a sandwich, potato chips, n a regular soda, not sugar free. Come on Meritus, you have a large beautiful campus but it sure isn't being operated very effeciently!!!! Very sad!!.

Staff were all very nice, I just don't know why it takes hours to get a room once Dr. determines you need to be admitted???

Not happy with the nurse in truma care mean nurse the had to clean my woun on my shoulder and it hurt like crazy she said quit crying like a baby

I came in last night because of my Restless Leg Syndrome. Nobody asked me what dose I take. Though, having been here before and having been asked if I was still using Neupro patches, I made the mistake of assuming that they could actually read a chart. I am here again because, in my sleep deprived state, I didn't check the prescription. It was written for a dosage that doesn't exist and in a quantity not available.

Not sure why they call this an emergency room. We have been sitting here going on 3 hours and haven't been seen yet. My husband is in alot of pain as he had back surgery the day before but that doesn't seem to concern anyone. I would leave if I didn't think it were an emergency for him to be seen as he's running a fever.

Really should learn how to prioritize the patients better. Would think a hypertensive patient with an infection would be a higher priority than a sprained ankle! What joke? Wonder who they paid off to get "Maryland Healthiest Workplace"?
