Amazing! One of my favorite byobs. The pyramid pasta and meatballs are the way to go.
Thanks for paying...now move to another table – Saturday night dinner... waited 30 mins. This is a small restaurant and we were shoved into a small corner. Our waiter came right over, explained the one special, then vanished for 20mins. We then placed our complete order. Had the Whole Grilled Artichoke and some cheese for the appetizer. neighborhood gem – We had walked in Christmas Eve after seeing The Nutcracker. We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly, it turned out to be a wonderful and romantic evening to ring in the holiday season. Love This Place! – The food here is amazing! I first went with three friends during restaurant week and we sampled a bit of each other's food, nothing disappointed. I was so amazed by the flavors in my own entree and appetizer. The basil and garlic olive oils were unbelievable. I've been back once more since and have plans to go again in a few weeks. Great food outweighs hostess attitude – Wonderful food at this place. Hostess put us off at first, but was soon forgotten when we got our dinner.
Very Poor Customer Service – We tried making reservations for a night during Restaurant Week. Even though they won't usually take reservations for 7:30 on a Friday night they do take them during this special week. When I called I was told by the person answering the phone that they don't take reservations during service hours but she took my name and number and told me I would get a call the next day between 10 and 3. rude host and waitress, great food – I went with a group of 4 during restaurant week on a Friday at 8:15. We had reservations for 6 but the other couple had canceled an hour before so my friend who made the reservations called to let them know and they still insisted on charging her card $50 for the no shows. Worst Service in Center City – A friend and I just had dinner at Mercato for restaurant week. Mind you, this is a recession, it was not as crowded as it could have been.
