The ER is so slow and say "we are so busy" but RN playing on their phones, surfing the web? Get your house in order! Walked out of the ER tonight without being seen because people were being discharged and rooms were being called to be cleaned but not calling patient back to those rooms? Setting in pain and they called a man back that was asleep and drunk and took 20 minutes to convince him to go to get treated! If someone is drunk and asleep leave them asleep and take back the people that are in pain!!

Words cannot express how much I thank God for putting this hospital in my life. January 16 was a life changing moment for me. I have to skip back to January 15 however. I was diagnosed with a urinary trac infection. Sometime the next morning, due to being diabetic and having a history of kidney issues I went into kidney failure. Upon being stablized at North Georgia’s campus and arriving at CHI Memorial in Chattanooga I was in a coma for 7 days. What happened is when I experienced kidney failure I coded ( died ) for approxim... read more

You might want to get your night shift security, at the Fort Oglethorpe location, some extra training. Escorting a visitor (the one visitor the patient is allowed to have) outside and banning them from coming back in, because they went to the restroom and apparently going to the restroom is not permitted due to covid. Same security officer was seen by patients, visitors, and staff, walking around without a mask on and yet every person entering that door has to wear one as well as all staff (just not him apparently). And then... read more

My 94 year old father was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital at the request of his physician. He is normally very talkative but was silent, refusing food, had low grade fever, diarrhea, some confusion, etc. Of course, we couldn’t go with him due to covid, so I called and spoke to the nurse to let her know things that my dad wouldn’t be able to communicate. Surprisingly, we received a call in about 3 hours that he was being released, that all tests were good and there was no reason to keep him. Even after again telling h... read more

Stop requiring that people consent to being photographed or videoed during exam or treatment. One's body is not for every Tom, Jane or Sally to view when such people have nothing to do with the exam or treatment.

Fire the lazy people and the theves they have working there. Its sad when a person can't bring stuff from home like lotion or a glasses case without it being stolen. I mean its sad that they steal stuff so easily found.

Business response:

Mr. Gaines, we are sorry you are not able to find some items after a recent hospital stay. Please call Teresa Bledsoe at 423.495.7867 to report the missing items. You can also send us your contact information in a private message if you would like.

My sister spent 3 weeks in this hospital one of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with I do understand what is going on with the cauvet 19 however that is no excuse for the conduct of the sergeants and nursing supervisors at all Hospitals and doctors don't like to deal with family members of patients They don't have to now so I get the impression it is to Hell with the family If you can prove me wrong I will delete my to reviews of this hospital but I feel like this will be just like the last 3 phone calls it will neve... read more
