The facility isn't much but everyone was very nice and made me feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances
Went there today for a kidney stone on my LEFT side. Was "seen" briefly after 3 hours by Twanda passmore (sp), a "practical nurse" instead of a DR. While using me for a leaning post and checking me with a stethoscope, she then proceeded to hit me with the flat part of her fist in the RIGHT kidney. (I had previously informed the triage nurse that I had a tumor on that kidney and was getting surgery soon. ) Why she didn't look at my chart I'll never know. Took a couple of hours waiting before going back. Lots of folks already in the back. Once back everyone was very nice and did t take long at all to see the Dr. The Dr was pleasant and very caring. Nurse Jonathan was very sweet and kind. One young nurse who hooked up my blood pressure cup was sweet but watched her thru the curtain that Dr left opened. She had a bag of cheese puffs. The worst. I waited 5hrs just to be tested and told I had the flu and which I already knew. They didn't even give me meds there. They need to be shut DOWN.
Extremely slow, went in at 9, didn't get called till 11:30, in tremendous pain...then called back, waited another hour, doctor saw me for 5 mins, then waited another hour and half for paperwork/discharge....
Took my 3 year old son in for a high fever and cough. Got taken back quickly but when it was time to go into a room they stuck us in a cast room instead of an exam room. Which meant a bunch of things my son wanted to get into because he had no bed to lay down on and be comfortable. But another patient came in after us with two sheriffs and they were put into a regular exam room for him to be comfortable. Took 4 hours to get results back from a flu and strep swab and than sent on our way with an antibiotic. One of the worse p... read more
Desi Rimon is a fantastic surgeon. He explains everything before and after clearly, plainly and succinctly. My nurses, Shelly and Shalondra were fantabulous!
