On 1/22/2018 my son was brought in for burns. From the moment we entered the ER our experience was awesome. From registration to the nurses the doctors and everyone else involved in his care, we could not have asked for a more professional and pleasant experience considering the conditions. We were transferred to VCU in Richmond and that too could not have been any better. If I could rate 0 I would my 8 year old son had been in the er over an hour until I finally called and they tell me they told me it was only 1 doctor when I was not given that information at all this was my first visit to this hospital with my child and I will not be going back !! Terrible service and rude people !
The hospital is nice and sought remind you of a Richmond atmosphere but they need more help and doctors from Richmond .
Wait hours just to have packing taken out. Was told they only have one dr in the er. You just opened this hospital and y’all are already doing worse then the last one did.
Great experience in the new hospital, everyone from admissions to radiology were very kind and courteous.
My Uncle has been at the hospital since 10 am. His blood count was extremely low and doctors wrote the order for him to get 2 units of blood at 12 noon. It is now 11:09 PM and he still has not received the blood. The nurses are saying there are some challenges with the system in getting the blood upstairs. This is completely unacceptable. The nurses are looking frustrated and a couple mentioned they don’t know what’s going on today. The hospital was not prepared to open today. This is very scary and dangerous.
