Last week was my first time at Mel's after living here nearly 12 years! Food was good and I LOVED the slaw dog. The slaw makes this one! I want to try other menu items in the future. I gave Mel's 4 stars because the cashier/order taker was terrible. The woman who prepared the food made up for the cashier a bit as her customer service skills were very good.
