Good home style cooking with a pleasantly friendly atmosphere. I don't go here enough but it is always great when I do. It might not be a five star restaurant, but it the right place for great home style comfort food.

Absolutely Devine, I had the catfish dinner! My grandson got the Hamburger and It was huge, the biggest hamburger I've ever seen! Recommend Highly Mel's Country Cafe!!!
Robert and I go there occasionally. We like the country atmosphere, the good food and the excellent service. Yesterday I had the fried catfish and Robert had the chicken fried steak. As always, it was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone, if you like this type of food. It can't be beat!!
Last few times, the fries were not normal Mels fries, and the burger just doesnt taste the same, and almost always soggy bottom bun... Just nor feeling it like I use to :(
As always a terrific "home-style" meal with excellent service!
