A beautiful house, very comfortable, very well equipped, we weren't lacking anything. Comfortable beds, lots of space for our party of 20. The kitchen table was big enough for us all to sit down together. Beautiful area with lots of nice walks nearby.
Awesome place to stay. Great for a long weekend get together with friends/family.
I have just returned from an amazing three night stay at Melmerby Hall and Stag Cottage. A vast accomodation with large kitchen and breakfast area, several sitting rooms, multiple bedrooms with ensuite/shared bathrooms with a mix of single and double beds. Would be a stunning venue for weddings or functions and hope to be back in the future.

We have just come back from a long weekend break with our grown up family and their dogs, staying in Stag Cottage. Such a great place to stay and Ideal for 3 couples sharing since each of the bedrooms has it's own bathroom. The place is well presented and the hosts are great people, on arrival we were greeted with a nice hamper containing quality items including a bottle of wine, and other fine goods. on opening the fridge we were found a large bottle of milk, eggs and cheese.
