My wife and I stayed here for two nights over a weekend. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lasy looking after breakfast. The room was lovely and clean and well furnished. The grounds around the hotel are amazing and so well maintained. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was lovely and the service excellent. Just stayed the one night whilst working but enjoyed the stay. Lovely grounds and amazing main building. Room was nice but didn't think it was worth the money.....it wasn't exceptional. It's worth noting the hotel has a static caravan site and camp site immediately behind the hotel. Something that other people may not expect for a hotel thats marketed as a luxury country hall hotel. We did have a walk around the caravan park and it does look very good for a caravan park, I'd be happy to stay there again too.
We were recommended to visit the Hall with our touring caravan which we did for 7 nights Lovely place great chill out and brilliant fishing in the lake Full credit to 2 of the staff members we met Paul and Sarah work so hard and yet they take the time to welcome you and make you feel so welcome and so knowledgeable about the local area The meals in the hall were great value for money and we will be returning next year and continue with our chilling out and visiting the local areas Highly recommend if you're a touring caravan... read more
Me and my son hiked here on the Offa's dyke trail from Knighton. Quite a tough section! Staff here helping with the camping were very friendly. In the bar the staff were wonderful. Friendly and welcoming and didn't mind our hiking clothes one bit. Food was amazing. Thank you!
