Dr Estes and her assistant were rude and refused to treat me or even listen to what I was experiencing when I tried to explain more than one area of pain i am experiencing. My referring physician said my neck, back and hip pain were all related but this office will only entertain one area of concern. I tried to make multiple appointment to address all the areas of pain to comply with their policy but I was told it doesn't work that way...... I had my first visit yesterday and it was just fine, except I have back arthritis. They squeezed me in because I was in pain. Dr Estes was friendly, professional and knew her stuff. I will continue to see her if I need to.
Do yourself a favor and see someone else! She's extremely arrogant and condescending during my consult. If she was in the room for 10 minutes that's a stretch. All they want to do is take x-rays (to make more $$$) and push PT (that they can help you with there) without sending me out for an MRI to even see what is wrong and treat the problem. Then wants to throw some meds to mask the problem instead of treating it.
Do not see this doctor if you don't believe me look at the yelp page for Dr. Melissa Estes. She is the most arrogant condescending doctor and most horrible person that I ever met. She treats you like you don't have any rights when you see her. She'll actually roll her eyes if you show concerns for your injury.
This practice has talented and reputable doctors and my feedback is specifically for Dr. Estes and not the staff, office, or other doctors. The administrative staff and nurses were great . However my interaction with Dr. Estes was very disappointing. She seemed annoyed and distracted and it felt as if her goal was to be done with me as fast as possible. I kept trying to tell her about recent medical history that was relevant, she barely commented on my Xray and didn't explain treatment
Long waits 45 minutes or more then rushes to get you out
My spine hasn’t felt so young in years thanks to Dr. Estes. Her persistence guided me toward recovery and her care is unmatched in the area. I’ve already referred my whole dinner club.
Dr. Estes could not have been more helpful. I tried multiple specialists in the area to help with my neck and she is the only one who took the time to listen. Wish she was in NY so I could see her more often!
The best in south Florida. Actually tries to help and find solutions instead of pushing pills like all the other docs down here.
