Dr. Melisa Estes is the most condescending and rude doctor I have ever been to. The disrespectful way she spoke to me, her angry bedside manner, condescending language and hate for her job are intolerable. I will NEVER go back to her. My appointment ended with her promoting her husband who is a private physical therapist that does not take insurance.
Dr. Estes was rude and my visit with her was a complete waste of time and money.
had met Dr Estes on two visits to discuss lower pain issues . She was recommended to me by the Orthopaededic Institute in PBG . I will not comment on her skills but all I can say that she is a poor listener hardly looks at you and deflect every question I had with a quick response . After my second visit she recommended a procedure based on whatever and made me sign an agreement exposing me to funds if my insurance coverage does meet the fees. Dr Estes should have a sign posted in her treatment room: SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP As a retired Physical Therapist I expect to participate in the treatment I receive. I was told that I was interrupting her. I was told I didn’t let her finish a sentence. I was told this in a manner I am unaccustomed to being addressed in. Would not recommend at all. Seemed like she was in a rush and didn't have time for questions. Attitude was fake friendly.
Wish I had read these reviews before I saw Melisa Estes today! The reviews are accurate--bad attitude, patronizing and rushed. She and her assistant could not even properly write orders for additional scans--I went back into the office three times before I had correct orders. Plus, the doctor ordered a nuclear medicine bone scan, duplicating what had already been done BECAUSE she did not read the reports/CD's I brought in. Shockingly awful. every review is beyond accurate....this lady is the worst of the worst...a terrible person at that...bad attitude...and misdiagnosed my fiance....we came with our mri as our pcp told us the back was bad...i too chose her based on her schooling, boy do i wish i had read these reviews....she sent him to pt and kept giving him trigger point injections, he kept telling her it was getting worse, to the point he couldnt walk...she stopped returning calls, staff had a whole attitude so you know they talked about him...gave him a ep... read more
She is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Minimal testing and was more upset that, I didn't know what type of shot my NJ Pain Mgt. Doctor gave me. She left the room never to return (thank god) when I went to get that information for her. She did prescribe a drug but didn't bother to tell me what it was. The office report well let's just say she my name was accurate but that's about it. The office staff seemed fine and check in was fine.
