Diagnosed in 1988....diagnosed again 2012 with stage IV. Remain on Zelboraf as long as it is effective. Trusting a mighty God all the way. Thankful for MRF who makes treatment and awareness possible

I was just recently diagnosed with stage 2A Melanoma in September of this year. I had a mole on my right inner thigh that I have notice a few years ago. I had it removed and just in october I had surgery to have the tumor removed. When my results came my oncologist said I was lucky that I had it removed when I did. I'm very lucky at such a young to not have to do chemo or radiation. I'm only 25 years and this has been the scariest milestone I have dealt with.

When I was 18 years old I was diagnosed with a stage 3 melanoma. 13 years later I am fighting for my life! I thought it was all over and I wouldn't have to worry anymore. I was just diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. I am 33 years old with a 4 year old little boy who needs his mommy. I have faith that God will see me through. I am currently on keytruda. Its a trial right now but I am hopeful that it will make a difference like it had for others. Thanks for all your hard work!!!

I am glad to have found this page, in June of this year I was told melanoma and have had two surgeries , one of which my lymph nodes removed in groin area, awaiting a pet scan and treatment, it has been hard , but I am trusting in God. It's so overwhelming , a person doesn't realize that there's so much cancer in this world until you have it, it just breaks my heart. Glad there is organizations that gives support!
