I was just told I have melanoma and I have surgery August 9th !! Please please have yourself checked !!

Thank you so much for all of the stories you post! It really helps me in a way that I can see what others are going through. I am 30 years old and just recently got diagnosed for the third time with Melanoma, the first one being age 24, and second age 25. Luckily, all three have been stage 1. I know I will continue to battle this for the rest of my life, but being proactive is what's keeping me going. I've got three kids, and a hubby that I need to stick around for!
