I was diagnosed with Melanoma July 25, 2014. Had surgery August 20, 2014. My sentinel lymph node came back positive so now to see the oncologist on Sept 8th. I just turned 34. I hope I'll be ok. I'm trying to stay strong & live a normal life taking one day at a time!
Does anyone know how common is it that brain cells are getting effected by melanoma?
Our 15month old son was just diagnosed with stage 2b melanoma cancer a week ago. Today while doing more research found out about MRF putting on the first ever pediatric melanoma summit not to far from us and our sons doctor is one of the main speakers! So thankful for this event at a time when we couldn't find much information on such young patients!
I survived stage three melanoma vulva cancer. I had a freckle on my labia. Dr. Reedy my oncologist and Dr, Ward my GYN assisted in my surgery. I had lymph nodes removed and reconstruction of my vagina. The melanoma went inside my vagina. My wonderful doctors did a awesome job removing all the melanoma. They said my surgery was rare. I'm very thankful. I see Dr, Voelter my dermatologist every six month. I pray to God that I never have to go through that again.
