Thank you so much for this site. I was recently diagnosed with Melanoma. Thank goodness , thru a routine dermatologist appointment, it is "in situ", and I had wide local excision a week ago today. Feeling positive that my second pathology report will come back clear. Early detection is the key

As someone diagnosed with melanoma a few years back your work is very personal to me. I was fortunate in that I only needed minor surgery to remove the cancerous tissue without follow up treatment. Thank you for all your efforts.
It's great to have a page with so much useful information for those of us dealing with Melanoma to access. I'm also extremely grateful for the community and message boards that I've found through the MRF. It's been exhausting trying to keep a brave face for family and friends, or listen to people that are completely misinformed about what Melanoma is, just brush it off.... Its so nice to talk to others going through the same things that get it. No need to explain everything, and no need to downplay. 5 stars from me for sure ... read more
