I went in for a migraine at the end of February. The nurse was repeatedly fishing with the IV needle, instead of stopping and asking someone for help or trying another arm. This caused a vasovagal response. I was billed $2000 with insurance for an IV of toradol and passing out due to the nurse’s lack of experience and or carelessness. I asked for an itemized bill and I was told my account would be placed on hold in the meantime. Like everyone said all they are worried about is the money. I saw a man sitting in the waiting room for over four hours was complaining of stomach problems. Had a heart attack and died while waiting for help. My husband went in at midnight and laid in one of there rooms for four hours. Charged him over ten thousand dollars to check his blood pressure three times. He had to send me to find someone so he could go to the bathroom

I understand by law, the next of kin is to decide the fate of another on life support. An estranged mother was able to call the shots for my brother-in-law. While my sister is common law married to said man on life support, the staff has opted the mother as next of kin. (Whom wouldn’t even let his daughter say her goodbyes). I would like you to explain how you can charge a 557$ for a TDAP vac and 3,733$ for Emerg room when my husband was waiting on a wheelchair in the waiting room? My husband has been brought to your hospital for a biking accident and stayed all the time in the waiting room. He has not occupied a bed and only had a chest X-ray. Your bill is extravagant, and unacceptable. You should be ashamed practicing such high prices and let me tell you, we will never pay you.
