Great Practice all around!! Don't listen to the last review! I came to meadows when they first opened, I was so upset I was crying. My daughter was very ill and I was using a pediatrician in the same building (very bad experience), Meadows was great they took her right in and have been wonderful ever since. Now at about 3 or 4 years later I have my son under Dr. Nishiharas care (he even came to the hospital on his day off when my son was born) . Very Pleased! Dr. Nishihara is a little odd, but a great doctor. He has had the same core staff for the last few years and they are all great. I recommend him to everybody I know. Love the less than five minute wait policy.
Treated Us Like Garbage - Then Illegally Refused to Send Records Totally rude! The facade of the office is nice, but the doctor's attitude toward us as parents was very arrogant. He stated that he didn't often take patients with insurance like ours because it didn't provide for enough doctor's visits. He made me feel like he felt we were lucky to be allowed through the front door. It was enough to make me go elsewhere and then the real nightmare began. Great Pediatrician I agree with the positive comments about Dr. Nishihara. He is very strict with his policies but for the benefit of his patients. He is great with my children. He does clean up after everything and washes his hands a lot. But it is my understanding that he does not want to get his patients sick. His office is very clean. He has taken wonderful care of my children and would not think of going anywhere else.
GREAT PRACTICE! Dr. N and his staff are wonderful. We have never had to wait, they always squeeze us in when our son is sick, and they will answer questions on the phone as well. I WOULD NOT take my son anywhere else and recommend Meadows to everyone.
Arrogant and Rude I agree with what everyone has said except that he is rude and condescending. I moved to this area from another state with two kids. Because my shots were administered at a different schedule than he does (still well with in the CDC recommendations) I was belittled and left alone in a room without any explanation. I found his staff cold and him just rude. I asked a few questions to try and understand what he was saying about my son being behind on his shots and he told me that I could find another pediatric... read more
Always awesome to my kids OMG. I cannot believe the negative remarks for this doctor. He has always provided awesome care for my children. He explains things, is thorough, and knowledgable. How dare you people judge him that way. There is no where that a parent can find a doctor who will make the child laugh, play with them and make them feel as if he is their friend (even like an uncle). This guy knows his stuff. Meadows Pediatrics best doctor! This doctor is very strict with his advice. No taking baby outside until two months of life, only use Dreft detergent, etc. He is also very good. He has a strict $25 fee for missing or canceling an appointment within less than a 24hour notice. This policy pays off. My daughter has had 3 appointments and I have yet to sit down in the waiting room chairs. He is so quick in getting you in. MEADOWS PEDIATRICS is AWESOME Dr. Nishihara is the best pediatrician I have come across in Las Vegas. He knows what he is doing and has his way of doing things.He makes follow-up calls himself over the weekend and gives your child the personal attention that they deserve. It's obvious that these negative reviews are from people who have their own issues. Parents are told in advance that if they are more than 5 mintues late that they will be re-scheduled. The doctor respects your time and expects you to respect his as well.
