Went to Meadows end lodges 11th of August and stayed in the Romney lodge, 1st thing I'd like to say is the area is beautiful and Cartmel village is a lovely friendly village with lovely pubs and restaurants but unfortunately this is where it all changes !!! I wouldn't say the lodge is pet friendly with gaps in the fences which basically look like Pallets, the decor is really dated inside so needs updating, on our arrival on the Monday we noticed a damp musky smell so we just thought open the windows and doors and it will go ... read more
Amanda and Adam from Liverpool stayed this week in meadow end lodges Boreray lodge . Utopia the whole’s experience. Lodge cosy clean . Private . People wonderful nothing to much trouble. Won are hearts thanks for a beautiful experience. Definitely 100% be back .
2nd visit, shaun Lodge 1st , this time Ryeland lodge , Ryeland lodge decor needs some attention and reclining 3 seater sofa broken , hoover smelt foul when I had to use it , old mop head on mop ( smelly and used) , we didn't have a washer but was able to use one in a empty cabin thank you! Internet very poor , smart TV but no Internet to support it !!! Hot tub lovely, peaceful , enjoyable break but lacks attention to detail, shame !!!
Lovely lodge and great prices. Nice and helpful staff.
