An ok hospital to give birth in but not for anything else. That's even iffy too. If given the choice I would go to a different hospital. Had my surgery there a few years ago and just recently found out it may have been botched. So now I may have to go through the surgery again while still paying for the first one so that's great.
I was a patient of Riverview Medical for 10 years and was happy with the practice until the morning of May 4th. I went to the emergency room for severe back pain. The emergency room was unable to diagnose the issue and told me to follow up with my doctor. I called the office at 8:15 and was given an appointment for 10am. I then received a call that I was no longer a patient because I missed 1 diabetic care appointnent. I have to wonder if this was a business decision, maybe I was not a profitable patient.

Was a great experience on the psychiatric unit. Nurses were all very cool. They saved me from myself and got my mind on fundamentals and made it possible to have interactions with other people.

Just wanted to say, the staff in the labor and deliver department was amazing. Jennifer, Angie, Lisa, Amanda, Maria.. I can't remember all the names, so I'm sorry, but my wife and I were there for 4 days for the birth of our daughter, and the entire stay and staff was exceptional. Constant checking in, came right away any time we needed anything. Never answered with "no". They found a way to make it work. Everyone was warm and friendly. This was in the middle of Covid and we were nervous and anxious, and I can't thank the st... read more
