Been eating there for years, people brag about Wagners fried chicken in Oldenburg, they must use baby chickens compared to the large breasts and whatnot at MCL, in other words MCL has great fried chicken.
Took our 82 year old mother's yesterday to eat here.... this is where she wanted to go, first they pushed us thru the line really fast, there was 5 of us... the beef was so raw in the middle, that was gross, Turkey was pink, Mac and cheese was old, mashed potatoes were thick and cold, gravy was alright, really for 79.00 for what we got was too expensive and terrible food, and Asian lady came and got our food from us and took it to a table where it got cold, the restaurant itself was freezing, the only good thing about our vi... read more
The food is always good but to over priced. My husband & I each had fish with 2 sides I had tea he had water & we had a coupon still cost us $19.
I have eaten here for years. Their food is always amazing and homemade. Wonderful food. Wonderful service.
Love MCL. Have alot of business meetings there. Love the people and love the manager. Matt is a very gracious host. Meeting room can be reserved for larger gatherings.
We both got the Wild rice stuffed chicken breast and it was very well prepared. The loaded smashed were delicious. It is a bit nippy in the dining room but that's why I carry a sweater. The bread pudding was good but a few of the raisins were burnt and to tough to chew. The staff were all very friendly and prompt. The decor is beautiful. Kudos to the decorator.
I always say when I want a good home cooked meal I go to MCL. And when I want liver and onions that's exactly where I go. They do a great job on liver and onions and I had fresh corn on the cob and fresh tomatoes it was excellent
