We both got the Wild rice stuffed chicken breast and it was very well prepared. The loaded smashed were delicious. It is a bit nippy in the dining room but that's why I carry a sweater. The bread pudding was good but a few of the raisins were burnt and to tough to chew. The staff were all very friendly and prompt. The decor is beautiful. Kudos to the decorator.
I always say when I want a good home cooked meal I go to MCL. And when I want liver and onions that's exactly where I go. They do a great job on liver and onions and I had fresh corn on the cob and fresh tomatoes it was excellent
Second time in a row I've been disappointed with my cobb salad, which is pretty much all I eat from there. You can't tell me that y'all think 4 small chunks of turkey should be considered sufficient. I'm pretty sure my husband paid about $7 for a cobb salad. Good thing he brought me a thick slice of pumpkin bread, otherwise I'd starve since I'm at work and can't go anywhere.
For the money part it's prices are high for no more what you get
MCL has always been a favorite but can't go to often, it's very expensive!
