I recently delivered my first baby with Dr. Hartman at McKay-Dee Hospital and had an extraordinary experience. My husband and I would like to thank Dr. Hartman, the incredible labor and delivery nurses and all the staff that took such wonderful care of us. I’ve never felt safer & in more capable hands. Nicholas James Hurst, MD does not listen to the parents of young children that he treats. He insisted on a medication that parents let him know has been tried many times in the past having negative results making the child aggressive and uncontrollable. Documentation was provided that Hurst admitted he did not read. Parents were coerced into consent with assurance the child would remain there until stable. The day after the medication was given, Hurst is releasing the child due to uncontrollable aggression.
I just had back surgery on 12-21-18 I couldn't believe how great the staff there treated me. Dr Aucoin was my surgeon and I really like his professionalism. I just wanted to thank everyone on level 2 who took care of me. Thank you very very much!
Their staff and doctors are amazing. However if you have to eat here the food is garbage. better yet if you have a baby here your husband only gets one meal with you. how much are you paying the hospital?? like at least $3,000 to 4,000 and your husband can't have 3 $5 meals with you. an extra $15 really??!!!! better yet if you happen to stay over the weekend. they close all the bistros sat and Sunday so good luck finding decent coffee. oh and if your wife gets hungry in the middle of the night when the cafe is closed your st... read more

Since Facebook is letting me write another review, let’s post an update on the review I posted four months ago: *please see my previous post for details on my initial visit* We are now over four months from this incident. I spoke to the Patient Experience office and was told a Peer Review would be ordered on this situation and I would be notified when it was completed (approximately 30 days).
