My boyfriend was brought in by ambulance, they & your er staff would not listen to me. They made me leave the room & put me a cosult room. I thought someone was going to come & talk to me but No one did. When they got him to ICU my main concern was waking him up. On Sunday October 27 every time he would start to wake up I gave. For the most part they are very professional although they Need to be willing to do some research instead of taking someone’s word as gospel
I just really wanted to give a shout out to my surgical team and after care team. One young lady stands out, Liesl really did an awesome job with her duties. she really cares about her patients and must love her job. she really took care of me and did it in the loving, caring and professional manner. I also want to give a mention to my overnight tech, Kris, he did an excellent job and tried to come in quiet and preform his duties just with the little light he had. My mother was brought to McKay with pneumonia and sepsis. The staff has been so unbelievably good to her. The nurses and CNA’s have been so kind to her and it gives me so much hope that she will get better.
What an amazing comforting place. They have amazing staff. Dr Pete Anderson was awesome and helped us make huge decisions. The nurses are awesome and there’s actually housing on site while your family member is in ICU. There is also a wonderful 1.1 mile track around the hospital.

The E.R. staff have no clue what the hell they are doing, just give u meds and send u home even if you are septic and could die. Here comes a lawsuit McKay Dee
