Same car dealership "dirty" sales practices as 20 years ago -We recently purchased a used truck from McGrath Honda. We saw it online and confirmed the price with their internet salesperson. Simple & easy -right? Not so when we came in person to purchase the vehicle. The window stick misrepresented the features of the truck. Presented me with a quote before showing me the CarFax which is unusual because I requested it several times. Then the used car manager showed up with it while the salesman became as quiet as a mouse in a corner. Very unusual after being embullient from start to the CarFax request again. The used Honda Passport 2019 had been in two accidents. Was purchased at an auction. "Hey what if we knocked $500 off our price for you......" Such an incorrigible person to experience.

This dealership needs much better service. This is 2022 and people find cars themselves online. This dealer doesnt allow you to buy or place deposits over the phone. They tell you first come first serve. Ok, fine I guess. I setup an appointment for open at 9am. They state if by chance the truck sells in the ************* hours the dealer was open the night before they would call me. The manager told me this, along with ***. My so called Friend works here so I went in to see if I could trade my ****** for a van I did not receive the kind of assistance I expected , it was the worst car buying experience Ive been in. Only offering me payout on my 2017 ****** and telling me it's not good for business to give me some of my positive equity on the car towards my new vehicle. From the moment I parked I was created by ****. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for. He was very descriptive with the van and knew a lot about it. Which helped me make my decision a lot faster. The purchase of the vehicle was fast and easy. There was a small hick up and **** took care of it right away. He went above and beyond to get me my vehicle. I am very happy and satisfied with how **** works. We will definitely refer him to our family ans friends.

Very disappointed with the service department at McGrath Honda of St. Charles. My daughter lost her only car key to her 2010 Honda Fit. Contacted McGrath about a replacement which they agreed to order. They insisted she had to have the car towed to McGrath which cost her $200! She then found her original key and told ***** from the service department.
