Beware of this dealership! Dealerships are all about deception but this one definitely puts on sheep clothing. Don't believe any promises and fine tooth comb their contracts, down to the insurance coverage that you may not need. Apologize if you must for being cynical, but stay focus on what they put in front of you! Had to report them to the BBB and consumer fraud due to predatory lending and misrepresentation.
Do not buy from this company. I thought I could trust them but do not do it . We experienced a horrible experience, we test dove a vehicle, we liked it a lot. We said we wanted it, our salesman was delighted. My wife and i were so happy. We were in the middle of signing documents and a head manager approached us and said sorry, this vehicle has already been sold super recently. Went in on 8/18/25 due to a nail in my tire. The car was ready on 8/21/25. After a couple weeks I noticed there were some scratches on the inner lip of my wheel with the flat that had been replaced. I took some pictures of the damage and sent it to my advisor, ***** ******* on Tuesday 9/2/25 to review. I dont recommend buying from this dealer. They are deceitful and slimey in how they conduct their business, from closing on the sale to getting financing finalized. First, the prices advertised on their website dont exist. They throw on a bunch of extras that are not optional (splash guards, paint protect, etc etc), so their prices will be almost $2,000 higher than advertised. I drove four hours from ******************* Charles to buy a car Id been eyeing for years. I worked with ****** as my Sales Specialist. While friendly, she spoke incredibly fast and was overly energetic, to the point that I joked Id need everything in writing just to keep up. I went in for a 9:00pm oil change and they did a multi point inspection and found something broken on one of the tire pressure valves. It was not this way before I came, to my knowledge, and the only people that have serviced my tires/oil change etc have been with McGrath St Charles. On the way back home, this light went off saying TPMS. I would not recommend buying a Honda True Certified Car from Honda of St. Charles. I bought my True Certified 2021 Honda Pilot on 11/21/2024. Once I brought home the car I found out quick it had many issues that should have been fixed during the certification process.1. Passenger side back break light lose. (still lose)2. Went to Honda Mcgrath after being hounded all day about a great sale that would end on May 1st , went in and was there for 6 hours. The deal was over before ever going ovver the breakdown. walked out on a vehicle that cost 42k and owe 66k -had great credit, was 4k in negative equity on trade in but not something that would drive the costs to 66k.They are cheats and liars. Where do I begin! I bought a 2020 Passport in 2023, that had a veering issue. The sales manager agreed that would be taken care of with the sale. It's been 2 years, and they have not been able to find the problem. As a result, the 2 front tires have worn unevenly (words from their mechanic), ONLY ****** miles on them.
