Very disappointed – wrong order with bacon despite instructions We ordered the Cheesy McCrispy burger with no bacon at this mc location , but unfortunately, it was still served with bacon. This is not just a minor oversight — it’s a serious issue, especially for people who avoid pork due to dietary, religious, or personal reasons.
We had a frustrating experience here. I visited with my brothers and we waited nearly an hour for our food, only to find out it had been given to someone else by mistake. The self service system does show an order number, but we weren’t given a receipt or anything to prove which order was ours when collecting so anyone could just take food if they happened to see the number pop up. Extremely disappointed with the service. Asked for cold water, but the manager, clearly in a rush, handed over a warm bottle instead. No apology, no courtesy, and absolutely no respect for the customer. Completely unacceptable.
I just ordered a family takeaway by delivery and they missed off my quarter pounder burger. Bag was unsealed. I contacted customer service and it gets worse.. They offer a standard missing item refund of £2.64. The quarter pounder burger costs £5.39. I just paid £2.75 to not eat a burger. Wtf?! Even getting a full £5.39 refund isn't satisfactory as what am I supposed to do for dinner? Brutal experience.
