Great place for a convention & trade show, lots of room, beautiful.
Beautiful space with lots of glass to see the outdoors. Here with the ASA who arranged shuttles from local hotels so no worry about parking. Very convenient. If you go to lunch at the same time as everyone else you will have a wait but not bad. I walked back to my hotel some afternoons (2+miles) but it was pleasant. My only complaint was the acoustics. Hard to hear the speakers at times, especially in the 183 room.
A huge convention centre.. but poorly connected by the metro system or the L of Chicago. The station is 4 blocks away and there is very poor signage to get to the centre from the train station.
Perfect in receiving us and our meeting, as AAO has organized it!!
Prepare to walk a lot!! The staff was wonderful in helping you find your conference rooms, food is typical convention center price

don't really have a problem with the staff or the place in general. i got lost and it was cold outside, probably my fault haha
McCormick Place is huge...a great venue, been there several times.
