C'mon McCormick Place! $3 for a bottle of water from the vending machines. You would sell more and generate a faster return on your investment by reducing the cost to $2.

Getting to "see" President Obama was to be a dream come true. But the entire process was horrendous. I was prepared for lines and lots of security. What I wasn't prepared for was the let down if the management of the event. From the lines where if you got out to go to the bathroom or get something to eat the people behind wouldn't let you back to your friend's- being 12 across and pushed from behind. Hen getting in, The airplane-hangar like space with horrible acoustics, and NO chairs. Again, fearing I couldn't leave my stan... read more

It was under resourced for the President's speech. Only 3 cart venders for food for 10-15 thousand people. We stood for 6 -8 hours. Many of us got dehydrated from lack of water( fountains were down on another level) Red yellow ticket holders got seats. No chairs for blue ticket holders. Barriers placed made it difficult to get access to EMT. The facility was clean and amazing , just inadequate management with the huge undertaking . Was it their fault or the party organizers? I don't know...

Neither the facility nor the CPD followed or enforced the instructions on when / where to get tickets. I froze outside waiting in line while people were allowed to enter through the bridge and get right in line. The day of the event was crazy, but worth it.

Once we got to the check out there was no organization just a chaos of pushing and shouting and crying once we got to were area were we were to be seated THERE WERE NO SEATING!!! Thanks for not bothering to tell anyone they had standing room tickets for the farewell address, either when we picked up the tickets or when we stood in line for the whole day. We all love it, but especially the new moms, the children, those with medical/mobility issues, the elderly...👎🏼👎🏼

Absolute bs man... first you tell us no one allowed in line before 6am and we get there to find out lines were formed at 4am...THEN why on earth would you have your people lie to us and say tickets are gone, then force us out of line just to give tickets to people who came after us and didnt wait 3.5hrs.... Disgusting
