Disgraceful no one thinks about having people stand in below zero weather. No one around for direction I was horrible. Shame on Obama administrators.
The staff was so friendly and accomidating for the thousands of people that stood for hours in sub zero weather!!! The hotel manager was very nice and understanding!!!!
The ppl were extreme friendly, and that was a lot of ppl! I got there at 5:30 a.m. They did not start passing out tickets until 8.
I personally didn't have a problem yesterday during the #OBAMAFAREWELL ticket give away. So my experience was good.
They were not ready for the crowd...Police said they were out of tickets ... he lied ...they were still giving tickets out....I got mine but so many people who waited in the cold did not
So unorganized was told doors will open at 6am so walked in at 6:03am there was a huge line already that formed. And that was behind me. Stood in line for 2 hours to be told by staff / security that we needed to leave their were no more tickets. My daughter & I followed directions & left with a mass of people. So disappointing to learn that information was wrong & people who were outside received tickets when we were told to go home. I was there this morning and received a ticket to President Obama's farewell speech. The staff and the planning committee did an outstanding job. Once I got inside, the staff was friendly and appeared to want to be at work. Everything flowed very smoothly and peaceful. Hats off to you! Job well done.
Security lied to thousands regarding tickets. Foul!!!! Crash Course in Crowd Control before Tuesday instead of lying to those who followed the proper White House protocol.
Shame on you for breaking your own rules. Those of us that followed your rule & arrived at 6:00 am the time that was said to be strictly enforced did not get Obama tickets. Those who broke your rule and arrived at 4 & 5 am received tickets. Many of us drove 2 hours to get there. Very disappointed in how this was handled.
