Spur O Moment trip & my 1st visit to Maymont Sun 25Mar. Loved the experience of the Children’s Farm, Japanese & Italian Gardens, carriage House and the Weeping Scholor tree. Will have to make another visit soon, as I injured my ankle there due to uneven pavement on the walk. Props to your 18year employee John ( sorry didn’t get his last name) who was present when it occurred & immediately came to help as well as later giving us a golf cart ride to our vehicle. A piece of heaven on earth in Richmond. Have been coming since I was a teen and now I'm there on sunny days often with my toddler. A wonderful park, wonderful people, bring quarters to feed the animals and donate a couple bucks to a beautiful cause!
This is and will always be my favorite park in VA. Even in the winter it’s beautiful.
We had quite an adventure. Love the Japanese garden. The only things that needed to be added was more wheelchair accessibility because we brought a stroller for my 1 year old and we have to struggle with stairs. The staff was wonderful and helped us, the staff named William offer to drive us back because the park close @ 5 and informed us that the park was about to close, he then offer us a ride back. Overall it was a great experience for me and my friends and would recommend this place to other who likes natures.
