RecommendedBeautiful park with a rich history. The walk through the gardens is breathtaking year round. We go here for a break from the daily hustle and bustle..Feels like a world of it's own with such beauty.
RecommendedGreat place for the family. I visit whenever I come to Richmond. There are tons of greenspace and gardens to escape the hustle and bustle of city living.

RecommendedThe Garden Glow is an experience to be seen, but I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. Imo its not worth the $12-15 admission. More like $8, especially when people are selling $4 styrofoam cups of coffee in there. Things to improve on for next year.. Make the intro path safer: More lit or add the colored lights along the 15-20 minute boring and at sometimes dangerous because of the incline and lack of light.. or just get rid of that part and offer cart rides down to the japanese gardens.. RecommendedThe garden glow was fabulous & so worth the 2 hour drive. Just wish folks would have slowed down to enjoy it instead of rushing thru with booze. Other then that a wonderful experience. Will deff be bringing my little girl back for the main parts of the park. Its been my favorite park since I was a kid & it's awesome to finially share it with her.
RecommendedThe Garden Glow is not worth $12, maybe $5. It is just a lit path with lights everywhere. I was disappointed.

RecommendedGarden Glow was fabulous! The staff and volunteers were so welcoming and helpful! The array of colors changing constantly made for a unique experience! Taking pictures provided brilliant colors that my eye could not see, but the camera lense caught in a very impressive way! Would love to see them add beautiful music if that was possible! The golf cart ride was super fun! We will make sure to go every year!
RecommendedStaff is patient and informative while managing people courteously, professionally, and friendly. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, and like nothing you could imagine. The Japanese garden blew me away, complete with Japanese Maple trees and huge Koi!!
