My family LOVES Maymont!! We have friends from out of town that stay with us frequently and Maymont is ALWAYS on our list of things to do. Such a beautiful place!

My family and I stopped here on a whim for a “short stop” to stretch on our way to NC. 4 1/2 hours later we finally left. We had a great time and really enjoyed the entire park. The grounds were beautiful, the kids loved the farm animals and the mansion tour was informative. My only complaint was both online and at the entrance to the mansion it was recommended that we give a “donation” for the tour (which we were planning) but upon entering and receiving our tour time we were TOLD exactly what we NEEDED to pay for a donatio... read more
Grew up going to Maymont Park.
The VIP Experience is fantastic!! Our guide, Joe, is a big cheese at Maymont and he treated us to 3 hours of science, logistics, personalized tours and amazing behind-the-scenes experiences. Our girls, 15 and 11, were educated, entertained and totally enthralled from seeing and feeling all the various animals’ food to climbing around waterfalls to cuddling the baby goats.
