Dr. Maykel did a great job. Being a bigger person I was worried with the outcome. Dr. Maykel’s reassurances and explanations really put me in a better place. He was a very personable person and answered all the questions I asked. Post operation I had concerns and Dr. Maykel again reassured me and everything turned out as expected. If I was to recommend to someone needing a similar procedure, Dr. Maykel would definitely be my first choice.

Dr. Maykel is a surgeon who talks to you when you ask him questions about your surgery I have never met anyone in my entire life with the bedside manners as Dr. Maykel has Iwould recommend him to anybody that has colon cancer like I did he’s one of the top notch surgeons that I’ve ever dealt with.

Dr. Maykel was recommended to me for my surgery by a nursing manager in the Boston area that I know. After speaking with him and hearing his plan about how my treatment would be handled and his confidence in his ability to take care of me, I was convinced that he and his team would be who I would choose. My initial surgery is now done and it went very well. He visited me every morning that I was in the hospital until discharge to check on my progress and to tell me that everything was going great.
