I just got a massage here today with my mom and we were so disappointed!! If you are someone who has ever gotten a massage before and therefore have any expectations of how it *should* be, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE :( It felt like it was my therapists first day and she didn’t know what to do.. literally wasted my time laying there having her gently press on my arms and legs. If Little Britain had a spa... As a qualified holistic therapist I can tell you the Maya Blue Wellness spa is an absolute shambles. Booked the Lighter Legs treatment - £60 for 40 mins and a £3 forced service charge pre-treatment, which is advertised as massage and exfoliation of the feet and lower legs. The sole of the foot was brushed twice, pressure was too superficial, and we were rushed in and out so from being collected at reception to leaving the room it was less than 40 minutes. Wonderful experience. Love the building, love the vibe, great thermal spa but most of all had the most relaxing massage ever with Adele. Felt fab all day
“My sister and I went for a spa treatment. While my experience was perfect as always, my sister’s experience was shocking. She booked a deep tissue massage, only to be told aggressively by the therapist, ‘This is not a sports massage.’ What followed was an extremely soft massage that felt more like petting.
