My son was being treated by another podiatrist for over a year because he injured his toe nail and then got an ingrown toe nail. After a year the toe nail was no better. I took him to Dr Hansen after seeing all his good reviews online. He performed ingrown surgery on my son and within a month the toe nail was healed and growing properly. I had an infection in the great toe on my right foot caused by lack of blood flow to the foot which caused the bone to be exposed. Dr Hansen worked closely with my heart surgeon and between the two they came up with a plan to increase the blood flow allowing Dr Hanson to do a partial amputation of the great toe saving my right foot. Thanks to Dr Hansen these two surgeries were able to take palace within 2 weeks from my first visit greatly improving the successful outcome. Dr Hansen is an amazing Doctor! He has performed a bunionectomy on both of my feet. (3 years apart). Both surgeries went perfect as he is the best Podiatrist! He was so kind and understanding, he explained everything perfectly. I'd recommend him to anyone.
I had a procedure done in 2009 for a bunionectomy by a Beaumont doctor. I have been in pain ever since the surgery. I finally found. Dr. Hansen , and he was straight with me as to what he could do, and what he couldn't do. After the 3rd or 4th visit for some pain relief, I agreed to have a bunionectomy again. Thank goodness. I am now pain free.
I started seeing Dr. Hansen back in 2006 I have seen close to 10 other foot doctors before Dr. Hansen and "ALL" of the, telling me I have Arthritis, and there is nothing they can do for me. Dr. Hansen found my problem and fixed it immediately, by performing a Triple Arthrodesis other words known as a "Foot Fusion". BUNION SURGERY AND ON STAIR CLIMBER IN 5 WEKS. BIG PLUS , IN AND OUT OF APPOINTMENT WITHOUT WAITING+++++++++++
I had Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy Heel surgeries on both feet 6 years apart. Because I hd such great success on the left foot, I didn't hesitate to have the right one done when needed. My Son also went to him to have an ingrown toenail removed. He made it as painless as possible. Dr Hansen is friendly and takes the time to explain everything in detail. I have referred him to many friends/family and will continue to do so.
If you want the best, request to see Dr. Hansen. I should have seen him first, my revisional fusion went great, and I am pain free!
Love, love, love him!!! The wait is VERY short, the staff is so kind, and Dr. Hansen is amazing at what he does!! So gentle, and very informative. And he's handsome haha!!
