I was treated for Neuroma in ,my left foot, he did a great job!
Dr Matthew P. Hansen and the staff at Great Lakes Foot and Ankle Institute are excellent. The receptionists are very polite , professional and helpful. The Nurses and X-ray Technician are great and make you feel very comfortable and Dr. Hansen is the best. Extremely knowledgable and finds out the prober explains it so you can understand it and treats the problem immediately. Always quick to make an appointment and I highly recommend Dr Hansen to service all of your podiatrist needs.
I had bunion surgery and all went well Dr. Hansen explained the procedure clearly and so no unexpected issues arose. Appointments were easy to schedule, his office staff is very nice and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Hansen to friends and family.
Dr Hansen was so helpful and nice. I was upset about the procedure he needed to do on my toe because Im scared of needles, and he was so great... Even brought me a juice box! He made an unpleasant experience a little more bearable and was always available for questions. Definitely highly recommended!

I am in the final stages of recovery for my 2nd bunionectomy with Dr Hansen, he did both of mine 3 years apart. The right foot went just as smooth as the left foot. Dr Hansen always takes the time to explain his plan of action. He is kind, caring and makes us feel at ease. Dr Hansen interacts with his staff to show you exactly what is going to happen or how your recovery is progressing. He provides all the tools necessary to have the best experience. I have recommended him to friends also.
Dr. Matthew Hansen, or as I like to call him, Dr. Handsome, is not only fast on his FEET, he is a kind SOLE. Once I realized trouble was AFOOT, I got in quickly and he NAILED my issues with a proper diagnosis and a care plan. I've been going to dr Hansen for about two years now, and he is such an amazing caring Doctor. I had surgery on both of my feet and he took very good care of me.
Treated my ingrown toenail on both sides of my big toe. Dr. Hansen was very fast and did an excellent job! I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend Dr. Hansen.
