I was recommended to Dr. Matthew P. Hansen by my Primary Care Doctor and he is awesome. I was having foot pain for quite a few years form a stress fracture. Dr. Hansen initially checked my foot and seen that I was wearing prescription inserts, then he started giving me injections for the pain, after a couple of months he said this is not working. I've been Dr. Hansens patient for quite a few years. From orthotics for my flat feet to recently having surgery on both feet for bone spurs on the front of my ankles. He assured me that having both feet done at the same time would be better for me. He took the time to tell me what to expect and the post surgery visits have been great. I took him some Sanders sea salt caramels-(as he told me the one spur was that big) as to Thank him for all his work, patience and skill factors. He's GREAT!!! Would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Hansen is a great doctor. He spoke directly to my daughter and explained every thing he planned to do during her double bunionectomy surgery. He also explained what to expect after the surgery. He gave his full attention to both my daughter and myself. Answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate to all his patience. Scares are healing nicely too.
I go away to school and was meeting with my primary care doctor when she told me she thought it was in my best interest to go see a foot specialist. For a year my ankle would swell every day and my feet would constantly throb. I have flat feet so I just naturally assumed I would always have foot issues. Dr. Hansen did an amazing job helping me get rid of some annoying plantar warts and is directing me in the right position while I'm dealing with a progressing bunion! He's straight to the point, honest, and listens while being very welcoming, extremely nice, and knows exactly what he's talking about! The staff is very welcoming, as well. They are always so friendly!!
Dr Hanson did a great job treating the plantar fasciitis in both feet. No pain at all now.
As an ICU nurse I interact with doctors all the time. From the second I walked into Dr. Hansen's office I immediately felt at home. He fixed my ingrown toenail in the office with little discomfort and I am impressed on how efficient he and his staff were during the procedure. I have already recommended him to my mother and cousin. Anyone who is looking for a podiatrist, please save the yourself the time and just head to the best, Dr. Hansen.

I've seen 3 other DPMs and thought I was just going to have to live with feet that hurt. I heard about Dr. Hansen and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. He's willing to take time to explain everything until I understand it, he's not quick to dismiss my concerns, he's on time or within about 10 minutes of my appointment time.
