My son had reconstruction surgery on his left foot. He has always been very active in sports and later in life wanted to join the Marines. With his foot , it was hindering his sports activity and he would have never been able to join the Corps. Imagine a mother's worst nightmare having to make a decision as to what doctor your child will see and will the surgery turn out good and correct his problem. I have a bone spur. He explained very clearly what the causing the pain. A couple of shots and the pain is gone. Of course I followed his therapy instructions which again he explained why the therapy is so important. I will diffidently be going back to him with any foot problems.

I absolutely LOVE DR. HANSEN!!! He has been a life saver to me. I had extremely severe bunions on both feet. I needed a doctor who would agree to do both feet at once to keep my down time limited. I was told by others I had to have one foot at a time. Another doc started my initial visit with a lecture that he does not do the surgery, so as he put it, "To continued to wedge my feet into ridiculous fashionable high heels and then come back a few years later for a second correction." He is a great doctor! I have heal spurs and had an open ulcer on my toe. He has given cortisone shots for pain and I have had 2 surgeries with him, everything is healing great, the ulcer is gone and now the only problems I have is arthritis and neuropathy in my feet. He has been an amazing help for the pain and everything has healed perfectly. I have referred other people to him. Love him and his staff! They are great and I have been to all of his locations, great people!!
Had a cyst drained and a cortisone shot for pain in my foot. Did great job on the cyst hopefully it will not come back. He said that it might come back. At the one week check up he said it was looking great and healing fine.
I had a toe nail procedure done by Dr. Hansen and never meet him before. I was hesitant about the pain I would endure but he assured me it would be a piece of cake. And it was!! Now on to the next foot....
I did not have any knowledge of Podiatrists and was hesitant to see Dr. Hansen when I first went to him. From the first visit a year ago, to today, my experience with him and his staff has been exceptional. He did foot reconstruction on me three weeks ago. He explained to me that this surgery was going to be quite extensive, painful for a couple of weeks and a long recovery, but, the results will be very beneficial.
